Sinopse
Foi numa esfera armadilhada, toda inquinada, sem castelo à vista, sob o cetim do azul sem andorinhas, que partiram. Descobriram pouca coisa, e não aprenderam nada.
Não tanto de grandeza, nem tampouco de valor, se compôs esta viagem – foi sobretudo sangue, suor e lágrimas. E tão pouco desse sal veio sequer de Portugal. Reza a lenda que ainda hoje esses náufragos insistem que é ali, perdida em alto mar, que reside a sua história.
Nau Nau, Maria, partindo da adaptação da “História Trágico-Marítima” (editada no séc.XVIII por Bernardo Gomes de Brito), propõe-se como uma viagem atribulada por esta que foi a mais magna desventura portuguesa.

Synopsis
It was in a trapped sphere, all quinate, with no castle in sight, under the satin of the blue without swallows, that they set off. They discovered little, and learned nothing.
This journey was not so much about greatness, nor about valor - it was mainly about blood, sweat and tears. And so little of that salt even came from Portugal. As the legend goes even today those shipwrecked persons insist that it is there, lost on the high seas, that their history lies.
Nau Nau, Maria, starting from the adaptation of "História Trágico-Marítima" (published in the 18th century by Bernardo Gomes de Brito), is proposed as a troubled voyage through what was the greatest Portuguese misadventure.
