Sinopse
Limbo é um espectáculo site specific construído a partir de improvisações sobre histórias de vida e relatos de violência, abandono e invasão. António, Carolina, Filomena, Marco, Náná e Pierre partilham fragmentos de memórias, canções, traumas e momentos que mudaram a sua vida para sempre.
Relatos autobiográficos e outras histórias misturam-se, a linha que separa ficção e realidade é ténue. Talvez seja sobre a amizade, ou o envelhecimento (a interminável batalha da Humanidade contra a Natureza), ou ainda sobre o medo de desistir. Adormecer e poder não voltar a acordar.
Carinhas dirige 5 jovens actores de Paris, Roma, Luanda, Costuleni e Lisboa, trazendo para palco as suas diferentes origens e percursos artísticos. A sombra de ser estrangeiro ou a sensação de não-pertença a um lugar, acrescido ao som das bombas não nos pode deixar de fazer pensar sobre um dos maiores flagelos mundiais desta década – as migrações.

Synopsis
Limbo is a site specific performance that builds on impromptus on the life stories and accounts of violence, abandonment, and invasion. António, Carolina, Filomena, Marco, Náná, and Pierre share fragments of memories, songs, traumas, and moments that changed their lives forever. Autobiographical accounts and other stories are blended, with a very fine line between fiction and reality. It is perhaps about friendship, or ageing (humanity’s never-ending battle against nature), or the fear of giving up, of falling asleep and never waking up gain.
Carinhas directs 5 young actors from Paris, Rome, Luanda, Costuleni, and Lisbon, bringing to the stage their different nationalities, backgrounds, and artistic paths. The overshadowing feeling of being a stranger or of not belonging to a place, compounded by the sound of bombs can’t help but make us think about one of the greatest world scourges of this decade – migrations.
